Process Caracteristics
Compression molding is a molding method suitable for thermoset and thermoplastic materials. The process is as follows: firstly, the carbon fiber materials is preheated and softened, and then then put the carbon fiber prepreg blank into the mold cavity and close the mold. Heat the mold to cure it, cool it to open the mold, and then demold it to get the carbon fiber product. Compression molding has a better molding effect and higher product dimensional accuracy.
High Strength and Light Weight: Carbon fiber materials have extremely high strength and modulus, while being light in weight.
High Material Utilization: During the compression molding, carbon fiber materials can be fully utilized to reduce waste.
Good Product Quality: The compression molding process can produce carbon fiber accessories with smooth surface and no secondary modification. The product has low internal stress, small warping deformation and stable mechanical properties.
