Process Caracteristics
Electroplated fiberglass tube is electroplated on the surface of fiberglass tube. It is mainly composed of two parts: fiberglass and electroplating layer. Electroplating is the process of depositing a metal (such as copper, nickel, chromium, etc.) on another metal or non-metal surface by electrolysis. When electroplating the fiberglass tube, the fiberglass tube must first be pretreated, such as degreasing and rust removal, to ensure a good combination between the electroplating layer and the fiberglass tube. Then, the pre-treated fiberglass tube is immersed in the electrolyte containing metal ions, and a certain current is applied to reduce and deposit the metal ions on the surface of the fiberglass tube to form an electroplating layer.
Enhanced corrosion resistance: The electroplating layer can further improve the corrosion resistance of the fiberglass tubes, so that it can maintain long-term stable operation in a variety of various environments.
Improve Wear Resistance: The electroplating layer can increase the hardness of the tube surface, thereby improving its wear resistance and extending its service life.
Improve Surface Performance: The electroplating layer can make the surface of the fiberglass tubes smoother and more beautiful, while increasing its anti-fouling ability and easy-to-clean characteristics.
Increase Functionality: According to the type and thickness of the electroplating layer, different functionalities can be given to the fiberglass tubes, such as electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, magnetism, etc.
